Drawing The Story – Children's Workshop (for children aged 7-11 years)
Drawings bring stories to life and in this workshop children will develop their drawings based on traditional stories to create a character and a scene from the story.
We’ll discover how to make the character fit the story by changing their expression, and the way they look. We’ll create a background that fits the story with a castle, forest, animals, or whatever the story needs.
By the end of the workshop we’ll bring the character and the background together to draw a scene from the story.
Materials included: paper/sketchbook, felt tip pens, coloured pencils, scissors, glue sticks.
£19.00 for a child and accompanying adult (includes admission to Elmer and Friends: The Colourful World of David McKee either before or after the workshop)
