Roman Britain is often thought of as having a definite beginning and a sudden and catastrophic end. As someone once put it, it's as if the Romans marched in in 43 and marched back out again in 410. Of course, it's not that simple. This presentation by Trevor Creighton looks at the decline of Roman power and lifestyle in Britain. Not just the last few years of Roman rule though, but more or less from the beginning. It is for anyone with even a passing interest in the history of Roman Britain or British history in general. There are dates and Emperors but, don't worry, no tests and (mostly) Trevor only talk about the naughty ones'.
