The Story of a Roman Lady with Red Sauce Theatre

Join Roman storytelling Rachel (otherwise known as Rachel Goodall from Red Sauce Theatre) for a lively Roman-themed story session at The Novium Museum, designed especially for children aged 5-9.

Children will meet a Roman Lady, a gentle puppet who will take the audience back 2,000 years ago.  Following in the steps of her everyday life children will meet puppet creatures as she travels through a mystical forest.  Puppet creatures include a snake, spider and birds who all have their own stories to tell. Together the puppets will bring colour to the magical Roman forest and life of the Roman Lady.

The 45-minute experience is packed with storytelling, movement and imagination, with plenty of chances to join in. A warm, inclusive session that inspires
curiosity, confidence and lots of laughter. 

Suitable for: Children aged 5-9 (please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
